Smoothline Flush Mount Wall Plate: Alternate Material Mount
The Smoothline flush-mount wall plate system enables outlets and switches to mount flush with wood, stone, and tile surfaces. This installation system is designed for both consumers and contractors, offering a straightforward installation process using a standard junction box with adequate depth.
Note: The Smoothline system does not come with a GFCI outlet. It is compatible with standard Decora GFCI outlets.
Installation is achievable using common construction techniques. For solid surfaces like marble, prepare cutouts before installation. For tile surfaces, cut the tile to leave a grout line around the flange, ensuring a neat finish.
UL listed for safety in the U.S. and Canada, the Smoothline system adheres to electrical standards.

GFCI Compatibility: The plastic covers are GFCI compatible. The wood veneer covers depend on whether or not the GFCI outlets have a large metal ring around them that can cause interference with the backing on the wood veneer cover. Please review all specifications of products being used prior to order.
Suitable for installation in:
- Wood (including painted and stained)
- Solid Materials (ie. stone, marble) *
- Tile *
* Please note, installation into materials other than wood require different preparation treatments. Solid materials such as stone and marble require fabricating cutouts prior to installation. Tile requires a grout line to be left around the flange to mask edgework.
Includes:
- Wall flange
- Temporary screws & cover
- Final cover
Note: The Smoothline system does not come with a GFCI outlet.
Router templates for installation are sold separately, find template here.

Available in gloss white and birch veneer face and either a white or black flange.
Birch can be stained or painted as needed. Gloss white can be painted, please use a primer suitable to plastic before painting.
